About CITI Fixed Savings

Turning engineering insight into energy savings.

We believe better energy management begins with understanding how energy is used and exploring practical ways to improve efficiency.

Our story

CITI Fixed Savings was inspired by a simple but important question: why are households and businesses paying so much for energy, and what can be done to help them manage these costs more effectively?

Chandler Ingwood and Tim Ingleton, engineers by profession, became increasingly concerned by the impact of high energy costs on everyday life and business operations. Their engineering mindset encouraged them to look beyond the bills themselves and consider how energy is consumed, where unnecessary waste could occur, and how better energy management could help people make better use of their resources.

This interest became the inspiration behind CITI Fixed Savings: a commitment to exploring practical, informed and cost-conscious approaches to energy use.

From engineering thinking to practical solutions

Engineering is built around understanding problems, examining how systems operate and finding ways to improve performance. Chandler and Tim brought this way of thinking to the challenge of energy expenditure.

Meaningful improvements do not always require one major change. A combination of smaller measures, informed decisions and suitable efficiency improvements can help reduce unnecessary consumption and improve cost control. This perspective helped shape our focus on making energy-saving opportunities easier to understand.

Our mission

Help people make informed decisions.

Our mission is to help households and businesses explore practical ways to manage energy consumption, improve efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce avoidable energy expenditure.

We believe better energy management begins with understanding individual needs, reviewing available solutions and encouraging responsible energy practices.

Our vision

Make efficiency accessible.

We envision a future in which energy efficiency is an accessible and practical consideration for every household and business.

We want to encourage a more thoughtful approach to energy use, where people understand their options and feel better equipped to make decisions about consumption, efficiency improvements and energy costs.

What we focus on

Clarity, care and practical improvements.

Understand consumption

Review energy-use patterns to help highlight where improvements may be possible.

Improve efficiency

Explore measures such as heating controls, efficient lighting, insulation and equipment choices.

Review energy options

Consider tariffs, contract terms and supplier arrangements against individual needs.

Support smarter decisions

Base decisions on relevant information, realistic expectations and the suitability of each option.

Our commitment

We aim to make energy-saving information easier to understand, highlight potential opportunities for improvement and encourage a balanced approach to managing consumption and costs. Every property and business has different requirements, and energy savings vary depending on usage, property characteristics, tariffs, equipment and the measures implemented. Our focus is on exploring realistic opportunities rather than making promises that cannot be guaranteed.

Moving forward together

The original concern that inspired Chandler Ingwood and Tim Ingleton remains central to our story: finding better ways to approach the cost of energy. By combining an engineering-led perspective with an interest in practical efficiency, we aim to help households and businesses explore options that may support better energy management.

Whether the objective is to reduce unnecessary consumption, review energy arrangements or consider longer-term efficiency improvements, informed decisions are an important first step.
